After transferring 9 IAS officers on Monday night, the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh has once again made a major administrative reshuffle shifting 16 IAS officers.
The list includes DMs of many districts, among which the name of the district magistrate of Ayodhya is the most prominent. Discussions in political corridors have intensified regarding this administrative change made by the Yogi government.
Transfer of Ayodhya DM in discussion
The most discussed is the transfer of the DM of Ayodhya. Anyway, after the construction of Ram temple, Ayodhya is constantly in discussion. Now the DM there, Nitish Kumar, has been removed and the new DM Shruti Singh has been appointed. This change has taken place at a time when the number of devotees coming to Ayodhya from the country and abroad is increasing.

Ashutosh Mohan Agnihotri, special secretary to CM Yogi has been transferred as collector Kannauj replacing Shubhrant Kumar Shukla, who has been transferred as collector Itawah.
Why are there so many transfers?
Now it is a big question as to why so many transfers are happening. In fact, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath says that the transfer is part of an administrative process. This is happening so that it can speed up the work of good governance. So far, 25 transfers have been made in two days.
16 transfers on Tuesday
In the process of transfers, 16 transfers were made on Tuesday also, including 6 district collectors. The districts whose officers have been transferred include Amethi, Ayodhya, Chandauli, Kannauj, Badaun and Etawah.
