Who all are retiring today in Rajasthan?

Two IAS, two IPS and one IFS officer is retiring today in Rajasthan. IAS Rajeshwar Singh, IPS Nina Singh and IFS Arindam Tomar are from 1989 batch

Two IAS officers – Rajeshwar Singh and Naresh Kumar Thakral, two IPS officers – Nina Singh and Rajendra Kumar and one IFS - are retiring today. 

Rajeshwar Singh, a 1989-batch IAS officer, who is serving as chairman revenue board with additional charges of chairman tax board and chairman RUDA, is superannuating after 35 years of service. 

IPS Nina Singh, also from 1989-batch, is retiring today from the post of DG Central Industrial Security Force, which handles security of airports. She is the first woman IPS of Rajasthan and the first woman to attain the post of DG CISF. 

IFS Arindam Tomar, also from 1989 batch is hanging up his boots. He is currently serving as chairman, Rajasthan Bio Diversity Board. 

A native of Uttar Pradesh, Tomar has put 35 years of service in Rajasthan Forest department. During his tenure he held various important portfolios including principal chief conservator of forests, working plan and Forest settlement and chief conservator of forest wildlife among others. He had also worked as associate professor in the prestigious Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun besides serving as project director of project unit in Dehradun. 

IAS Naresh Kumar Thakral, a 2006-batch IAS, promoted from special selection, is serving as secretary finance. He was earlier engineer in Public Works Department. He joined IAS in 2014 with seniority of 2006. During his decade long service, he has worked as collector of two districts – Sikar and Bundi. He has also worked as director of National Mission before being part of core team of finance since April 2021. 

IPS Rajendra Kumar, a 2010 batch officer, promoted from state service, is currently working as DIG, state disaster response force. He had been SP of Churu, Anupgarh and traffic (headquarter). He was also appointed as OSD of newly created districts – Dudu and Anupgarh.
