Vinayak Kumar, son of IAS Anand Kumar has been selected in the most prestigious UPSC Civil Services Examinations. He bagged 180 rank in his first attempt.
The proud father Anand Kumar is currently serving as additional chief secretary home in Rajasthan. He is 1994 batch IAS officer.
Vinayak Kumar has completed MBBS this year from SMS medical college Jaipur. There are many IAS officers in Rajasthan whose children have also qualified this exam which is one of the toughest examinations in the country.
Pururaj Singh Solanki from Jaipur has secured 21st rank in the examination. He is an alumnus of BVB Vidyashram School in Jaipur. After schooling in 2017, he studied B.Tech, Chemical Engineering from IIT Mumbai.
Director of BVB Vidyashram R C Jain, who is also a retired IAS, said that the entire school is proud of his achievement.
“He had been bright student since beginning. We were sure that he will acheive something big in life. He made us proud when he got selected for IIT and now biggest proud moments for as he is picked for serving the nation through this coveted service,” R C Jain said.
Apart from that, Krishna Joshi has secured 73rd rank in UPSC. She is daughter of public prosecutor Anil Joshi. Mohan Lal Jakhad from Barmer has secured 53rd rank and Akshay Doshi, also from Barmer secured 75th rank in the examination.
UPSC CSE is the most prestigious and one of the toughest examinations of the country, which is conducted every year to select top bureaucrats of the country, who run the state and central governments.
The UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examinations 2023 was conducted on May 28, and the UPSC Mains examination was conducted on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24, 2023. The final personality test/interview round was held phase-wise from January 2 to April 9, 2024.
