After a long hiatus, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje came out heavily on Congress government saying the ruling party is making false promises to mislead people of Rajasthan.
“Priyanka Gandhi says that if Congress government repeats, they will hive Rs 10,000 to every woman. They know that Congress is not coming in power, so what's the problem in making false promises? However, promise is like her brother Rahul Gandhi's promise of farm loan waiver within 10 days of forming government. It's been five years and nothing happened till date,” said Vasundhara while inaugurating poll office of Kalicharan Saraf in Jaipur.
It is said that Vasundhara Raje fought for Kalicharan Saraf, who has been her loyalist. His ticket was uncertain as he has crossed 72 years and had won last election by a whisker.
She questioned the concerns shown by Priyanka Gandhi towards women welfare.
“If you are so much concerned about women, why your government let your government to close down BJP's Bhamashah scheme which makes woman the head of the family? Why Rajasthan is on the top in case of woman atrocities? Why Rajasthan is defamed in rape cases of minors?” questioned Raje.
She said that the BJP is going to for the government this time and would fulfill all the expectations of people.
“We will come and restart the projects and works Congress has halted. We will start the ring road project. We will also give momentum to ERCP and this project will cater to the water needs of 13 districts including. Jaipur. We will also revive Dravyavati river project and will bring flowing water back to river which has been to sewer,” Raje said.
