UP CM Yogi transfers 6 DMs including Agra and Prayagraj

In a late night reshuffle on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh changed district magistrates of six districts – Agra, Prayagraj, Mathura, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Moradabad.

A day before, the Yogi government had transferred 12 officers including 9 district magistrates.

Navneet Singh Chahal, a 2011 batch IAS officer and district magistrate of Agra, has been appointed as the DM of Prayagraj while Bhanu Chandra Goswami, a 2009 batch IAS officer replaced him as the DM of Agra. Goswami was serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Authority.

Manvendra Singh, a 2010 batch IAS officer, who was posted as Additional Chief Executive Officer of Noida, has now been made the District Magistrate of Moradabad while Shailendra Kumar Singh, an IAS officer of 2015 batch, who was DM of Moradabad, has now been transferred to the post of DM of Mathura.

Rahim Pandey, 2014 batch IAS officer, who was posted as Additional Sugarcane, has been transferred as DM Hamirpur while Mridul Chowdhary, who was project administrator of Greater Sharda Assistant Command Area Development Authority has now been appointed as District Magistrate of Mahoba.
