Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the nomination of BJP candidate from Tijara Baba Balaknath on Wednesday. He will address a rally and would campaign for Baba Balaknath, who belongs to Nath community to which Yogi Adityanath is also a member.
Baba Balaknath, who is member of parliament from Alwar, is contesting assembly elections for the first time from Tijara. His main target is to promote the agenda of Hindutva in the state.
“There is great demand of Yogi in Rajasthan. The presence of Yogi will polarise Hindu votes in Tijara. Apart from that Balaknath, who belongs to Yadav caste, would attract Yadav votes which are in good numbers,” said Rajesh Yadav, a resident of Tijara.
The visit of Yogi will also have impact on surrounding seats of Behror, Ramgarh and Alwar. BJP will try to polarise Hindu votes to its advantage.
