The transfer list of officers has become a issue. Former Ashok Gehlot and BJP leader Rajendra Rathore entered into a ‘X' war. While Gehlot claimed that non reshuffling of top officers for the last 8 months is an indication that appointments made during Congress tenure were perfect and all the allegations of BJP is malacious.

Gehlot, on his X account wrote that BJP should come up with an announcement that no transfer list will be released that the uncertainty over reshuffling fades away and officers concentrate on their .

Rajendra Rathore hits back

In a strong reply to Gehlot, Rajendra Rathore wrote on his X account that he (Gehlot) should not worried about reshuffling of bureaucrats.

“Public servants are accountable to and not to any person. Governments change but public servants remain there. Their duty is to implement government policies. We evaluate public servants on their performance and not on political affiliation,” Rathore wrote.

He wrote that the BJP government is probing the corruption cases during Congress government.

“The allegations levelled against Congress government is based on facts and logic. Those officers indulged in corruption will soon be punished. You have done the ‘Congressisation' of bureaucracy Now the times have changed,” he wrote.

Rathore alleged that the tweet of Gehlot reflects his helplessness and desperation.

“It seems bureaucrats appointed by you on top posts are not working in your favour. Perhaps that is bothering you. That's why you want transfer of these officers. Inspite of you in opposition, we respect you. If you don't want to disclose their names in public, you can tell me in person. I am sure your logical demand will be met,” he said.
