Three more IAS line up for central deputation

Three IAS officers – Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, Bhanu Prakash Yeturu and Bhagwati Prasad Kalal – have been lined up for central deputation. Last month two IAS officers – and – got postings in central . They would soon be joining Modi government. 

Prakash Rajpurohit has been given posting as director in department of economic affairs while Gupta will be joining as joint director in National Testing Agency. 

Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, a 2002 batch IAS officer, has been empanelled as joint secretary and would soon be getting suitable posting at centre. Similarly, Yetiru a batch junior to him would also be getting posting as joint secretary while Kalal, 2011 batch IAS officer would be posted at director level.

Pednekar, currently is working as secretary in tribal area department. This will be his first chance to serve in union government. According to sources, he may get posting in new energy department.

Yeturu is currently serving as secretary in higher and technical education department. Though he has never gone on central deputation, he had served in  Andhra Pradesh – his native place – on an interstate deputation.

Bhagwati Prasad Kalal is currently serving as managing director in State Mines and Minerals Corporation. Earlier he had also served as director mines, joint secretry mines and collector of districts like Bikaner, Sirohi and Banswara among other key positions.
