Jaipur police has identified the killers of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was killed by two assailants on Tuesday in broad day light.
The Rajasthan police has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by Additional director general Dinesh MN to crackdown on killers of this murder case. Dinesh MN was on leave but he was called abruptly to handle the case, which has set the state on fire. The Rajput community is holding agitations and demonstrations across the state demanding arrest or encounter of killers.
One of the killers identified by police is Rohit from Makrana and the other shooter has been identified as Nitin Fauji from Mahendragarh Haryana, who is a serving soldier with Indian Army. He is said to be on annual leave from his unit.

The main shooter Nitin who had fired the last bullet on the head of Gogamedi point blank, was in contact with Sampat Nehra, who is lodged in Bhatinda jail in Punjab.
Sampat Nehra, also a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang, is said to be main conspirer of this killing.
According o Punjab police intelligence, Nehra had asked his people, who are out of jail to arrange for AK-47 to kill Gogamedi.
The police has announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh each for any information about the two killers. They are conducting search operations in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The Special Investigation Team
The SIT is led by additional director general police Dinesh MN. The team has almost same members who were part of encounter of gangster Anand Pal Singh, which was also led by Dinesh MN. The team has IPS Karan Sharma, RPS Vidya Prakash, former RPS Sanjeev Bhatnagar and cop Narendra Singh.
