Here's some good news for Public Health & Engineering Department (PHED), Rajasthan. The department won ET Government Digitech Award for excellent digital initiative in the field of drinking water. On behalf of Rajasthan government, Dr. Subodh Agarwal, additional chief secretary, PHED and water resources received the award in a national conclave organised at Goa.
The conclave was aimed at serving as a platform for senior government officials, academics, decision makers, entrepreneurs and technology leaders to exchange knowledge and ideas on the 21st century's digital infrastructure that can enable governments to improve service delivery, build world-class infrastructure and drive social inclusion.
Speaking at the conclave Dr. Subodh Agarwal deliberated on various digital initiatives Rajasthan government is taking for supplying clean water to the households. It was attended by more than 150 dignitaries from across the country.
The BuckStopper, run by a group of seasoned journalists, holds the powerful accountable. The buck stops with them, as they cannot shrug off their official responsibilities.
