Rajasthan chief secretary Sudhansh Pant is slated to meet prime minister Narendra Modi on December 13 next month in New Delhi where PM will meet will meet chief secretaries of various states.
This three-day meeting called by Niti Ayog, will set agenda for the Prime Minister to take up with chief ministers at the next governing council meeting of Niti Ayog.
Prime Minister, who is also chairman of Niti Ayog, will discuss with chief secretaries about initiatives and reforms taken up by states to spur investment in their respective states.
Sudhansh Pant too will be have a lot on his plate to show. Fresh from the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit to be held from 9-11 December, Pant will have an opportunity to showcase the investment commitments pouring in the state.
Sources say that the investment commitments so far have cross Rs 25 lakh crore mark.
“Prime Minister Modi on making India a $30 trillion developed economy by 2030. He will try to understand the economic situation and policies of states.
He will urge states to go for reforms so that development can take place at faster pace,” said a senior IAS officer.
