At a time when Former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan and Congress leader Sachin Pilot is passing through uncertainty in his political elevation, he preferred to skip Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge's rally in Baran to appear for the test for promotion from Captain to Major in territorial army.
Pilot who had joined territorial army in September 2012 as Lieutenant is now Captain and after passing the test would be promoted to Major.
Pilot is attached with Sikh regiment and often goes to his regiment and interact with offices and soldiers.
In an interview, Pilot, son of Rajesh Pilot, who was Squadron leader with Indian Airforce, had said that he wanted to join armed forces but due to weak eyesight he could not join.
