Rohit Godara, member of the gang of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility of the murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who was shot dead at his home by unidentified assailants.
In a Facebook post, Rohit Godora, currently absconding from India on fake passport, has claimed that his gang members have committed murder of Gogamedi as he was supporting enemies of Rohit Godara. He warned that the gang will take similar actions against the enemies also.
Police has announced a prize of Rs 1 lakh on Rohit Godara who had claimed murder of another gangster Raju Thehat.
Murder of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi
Two days after declaration of election results, a Rajput leader Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, national president of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was shot dead in Jaipur. Unidentified assailants riding scooty went to his house and fired uncountable bullets at Gogamedi leaving him dead.
According to police, three men including one Navin, who also got killed by the gangsters, went to Gogamedi house. The two shooters suddenly started shooting at Gogamedi leaving him dead. The three had come to his house in a Scorpion which was parked near Gogamedi's house. The two attackers were said to be intoxicated as empty bottle of whiskey was found in the scorpion.

Gogamedi, a Rajput leader hogged the limelight when he slapped ace film. director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the sets of film Padmavat. The Deepika Padukone- Ranvir Singh starrer caught in controversy after Shri Rajput Karni Sena objected to the content of the movie and disrupted the sets in Jaigarh.
Gogamedi also conducted state wide demonstrations objecting to the encounter of gangster Anand Pal Singh, a fellow Rajput.
