Rising Rajasthan to rollout red carpet for top biz tycoons

Rajasthan government has rolled out red carpet for top industrialists and business tycoons for inviting them to invest in the state which promises best of the investor-friendly environments in the country.

Preparations for the mega investors summit – Rising Rajasthan – are in full swing. The three-day summit starting from December 9, 2024 promises to bring massive investment and job opportunities in Rajasthan. 

 Top officials of  industry department and bureau of investment bureau (BIP) – the nodal agency – are working overnight to make this summit successful. 

For that invitations are being sent to top of the line industrialists and business tycoons for their participation. 

“We are inviting industry giants like Mukesh Ambani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, Anand Mahindra and N Chandrasekaran among others for his summit,” said a senior BIP official.

Rajasthan ready for Rising 

He said that the is ready with investor-friendly policies for apparel, data centre policy, land aggregation policy, logistics park policy,  other attractive sops and incentives for intensive industries.

“Rajasthan has tremendous potential in every sector. We have skilled manpower, economical workforce, stable government, sound law and order situation, robust road network, power and minerals. With new policies in place, businesses will thrive in the state,” he said.

The state government expects to have a larger galaxy of business tycoons this year as compared to the participation in the previous edition.

In last investors summit – Invest Rajasthan – which was organised from 7-8 October, 2022 – industrialists including Gautam Adani of Adani Group, Anil Agarwal of Vedanta, Praveer Sinha of Tata Power, Anish Shah of Mahindra & Mahindra and Ajay Shriram of DCM Shriram had participated.

”Strong at top – chief Bhajan Lal Sharma and industry minister Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore – we expect this summit to be bigger and better than previous ones. We will also have Non Resident Rajasthani Conclave to have an emotional connect with Rajasthani diaspora spread across the world. We will invite ‘sons of soil' to give back to the society they belong to,” he said.
