There was a time when traders and businessmen of Rajasthan had to move out to do business. With unmatched business acumen, they succeeded earned name and fame and called as the mystical Marwaris.
But Sand has shifted since then. People from across world are coming to Rajasthan to set up industries, businesses and trading.
Even those proverbial Marwaris are coming back to their roots and start new venture in their motherland.
The business ecology, the administrative environment and the consumption ecosystem have changed completely. The reverse flow of brains and money have pledged prosperity, jobs and success in Rajasthan.
Barren sandy land, high speed storm and scorching sun – factors which made Marwaris to move out, have now become money spinners for them. Vast stretches of barren land spread across Jaisalmer-Bikaner-Barmer are now yielding inexhaustible power drawn from high speed wind and scorching sunlight. The area, which was once deserted, has become happy hunting ground for big ticket solar and wind power companies.
