RIICO, Rajasthan's nodal agency for industrial development, is on a land allotment spree. Soon after the allotment of 103 industrial plots under direct land allotment scheme, the agency has lined up 533 plots across the state up for sale through e-auction.
These plots are not earmarked under the direct land allotment scheme. The process will start on April 7, 2025.
“We have earned Rs 353 crore for the sale of 103 plots under direct land allotment. The income will be used for further industrial infrastructural development of the state,” said RIICO chairman and principal secretary industries Ajitabh Sharma.

Rajasthan government has made remarkable process in implementing the MoUs and investment commitments on ground. Within three months of Rising Rajasthan summit, the state government has been able to see the ground breaking of projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore – almost 10% of the total investment commitment of Rs 35 lakh crore received during the summit.
“Industry friendly policies and proper follow up from state government are facilitating the conversion of commitment not action. We have tweaked some rules to make doing business easy in the Rajasthan,” said a senior official.
