During the festive season, Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB), which provides houses and commercial properties at reasonable prices, is scheduled to hold auction of premium properties on 7-9 October and then 14-16 October and then on 21-23 October this month before Diwali.
RHB Commissioner Dr Rashmi Sharma said that the auctions of housing board is getting good traction from people.
“After a long time, RHB is conducting auctions of property. We are getting good response. In a recent auction from 3-5 October, RHB garnered Rs 142.54 crore by selling off properties,” she said.
The board has auctioned 54 properties in Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Phalodi, Bikaner, Alwar and Jodhpur to earn Rs 142.54 crores. The premium properties included houses, residential plots and commercial properties in housing board colonies.
Dr Rashmi Sharma said that there is good demand of properties in housing board colonies of the state.
“People participate with great enthusiasm in auctions. We want people to participate in these auctions in large numbers so that they can be benefitted from this sell off. In future also, we will be holding such auctions to reach out to more and more people,” she said.
