Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB) commissioner Pawan Arora gets awarded for his consistent performance while RHB has also been adjudged as Excellence in PSU at an award ceremony organised by HRD Congress in Mumbai.

“A pat on the back infuses life in even non-living objects. Four years back, the board was considered defunct. But with motivation from chief minister Ashok Gehlot and UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal, we got back the lost zing in us. Officials of board started getting recognized for their good work and gradually board started getting awards for exemplary work,” Arora said.
RHB commissioner Pawan Arora leads by example. Instead of receiving award himself, he sends officials to these award ceremony for motivation and encouragement. This is a rare gesture shown by any senior official. In last four years since its revival, the board has bestowed with 31 national and international awards including World Book of Records, Skoch Awards, Award of Excellence, National Real Estate Development Council award, National Housing Award, IBC and Star of Governance – Gold Award. It has also received Naredco's Real Estate Award among other prestigious awards.
During the last four years under the leadership of Arora, RHB has recorded a revenue of Rs 4,637 crore by selling 17,000 housing units and 2,000 commercial properties, which is record of sorts.
