A high-level delegation of Government of Rajasthan, led by Industry and Commerce Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore met with Gautam Banerjee, Chairman, Blackstone Singapore and discussed the opportunities available in developing infrastructure in the state. Blackstone is a leading global investment firm headquartered in New York City, specialising in alternative asset management.
Showcasing the potential of the state, Rathore said that Rajasthan has 419 industrial parks and abundant land available to develop more industrial and IT parks. He also invited Blackstone to participate in the upcoming ‘Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit in December.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant said that a very big hi-tech city is going to take shape outside of Jaipur very soon and invited Blackstone to explore the opportunity.
On this occasion, Banerjee said that developing business parks and infrastructure are Blackstone's speciality and expressed interest in developing business parks, data center and other infrastructures in Rajasthan.
Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary (Medical and Health), Government of Rajasthan, and other senior officials of the Government of Rajasthan were also present during the meeting.
