Rajasthan transfers more than half IFS officers 

In a late night rejig, 44 IFS officers were transferred in Rajasthan. This was the first major reshuffle after formation of new government

The dispute between two IFS officers – conservator of forest (CCF) and field director of Ranthambore Tiger P Kathirvel and deputy conservator of forest and deputy field director Mohit Gupta – had a predictable ending. Kathirvel has been removed and transferred to Bharatpur as chief conservator of forest while Gupta has been transferred as deputy conservator of forest Jodhpur. Dr Ramanand Bhakar has been transferred to Ranthambore from DCF Dausa.

In a late night rejig 44 – more than half of the total 95 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers were transferred including two getting posting after being APO for sometime. Apart from that seven officers have been given additional charge. 

Rajesh Kumar Gupta, who was put on APO after transferring from Gehlot's office, has been appointed as additional principal chief Forest conservator (wildlife) and chief wildlife warden while Anoop K R who was on deputation to his home Kerala, has been sent to Ranthambore as field director replacing Kathirvel. 

, has been transferred for the post of principal chief forest conservator and chief wildlife warden to principal chief forest conservator, planning and forest management. Another senior IFS officer Shikha Mehra has been posted from additional principal chief conservator of forest (PCCF), CAMPA to PCCF, fCA and nodal officer FCA. She has also been given additional charge of PCCF administration. 

Monali Sen, who was officer on special duty, forest department has been posted as special forest, environment and climate change department. Sudeep Kaur, who was serving as deputy conservator of forest in Jaipur Development Authority has been replaced by Sangram Singh Katiyar. Sudeep Kaur has been moved on promotion or Forest conservation (coordination) at headquarter. 

Bijo Joy, a 2010 batch IFS, who is serving as deputy conservator of forest in Mukundara Hills, tiger reserve has been promoted to conservator of forest at the same posting. Similarly, other 2010 batch IFS officers – Kapil Chandrawal and Supongsashi have also been promoted at their current postings.
