Rajasthan transfers 3 IAS, gives additional charge to 3

Rajasthan government, in a late night reshuffle transferred three IAS officers and handed over additional charge to three other IAS officers

Muhammad Junaid PP, a 2018 batch IAS officer, who was serving as additional commissioner EGS, has been transferred as joint finance (expenditure-II). He has replaced an RAS officer Hasija, who has been transferred as additional commissioner (planning  and policy) excise department, Udaipur. Junaid, a native of Kerala, had earlier worked as CEO zila parishad, Sri Ganganagar and sub divisional magistrate in Jhalawar and Nadbai.

Rahul Jain, a 2019 batch IAS officer, who was serving as chief executive officer district council-cum- additional district programme coordinator EGS, Rajsamand,  has been transferred as commissioner, Udaipur Development Authority. The Udaipur Development Authority was formed last year before the code of conduct. Earlier it was Urban Improvement Trust () which has been upgraded to Udaipur Development Authority. Since it is a newly created urban body, there is lot of scope of development in the city.

Dhaigude Snehal Nana, also a 2019 batch IAS officer, who was serving as chief executive officer district council-cum- additional district programme coordinator EGS, Chittorgarh, has been transferred to as secretary Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) Alwar. 

Apart from that, the government has also given additional charge to three IAS. Karan Singh, a 2009 batch IAS, who is serving as special secretary labour department, has been given additional charge of commissioner labour department. 

Vishwa Mohan Sharma, a 2010 batch IAS, who is serving as commissioner, Mid day Meal, has been given additional charge of special secretary, education department. 

Rajendra Vijay, also from 2010 batch, who is serving as special secretary, food, public distribution and consumer affairs, has been given additional charge of managing director of Rajasthan State Food and Public Distribution Corporation. 

The charge has been given in lieu of retirement of Parmeshwar Lal, who is going to retire on February 29, 2024.
