Rajasthan government effected the much awaited transfer of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers. With these postings, cabinet ministers get their personal staff and vacancies in the chief minister office (CMO) have been filled up. Anju Rajpal who was serving as joint secretary in forest department has moved to CMO. Anju Rajpal is the sister of Manju Rajpal who is serving as commissioner JDA.
Anju Rajpal is considered as choice of additional chief secretary to CM Shikhar Agrawal who was her boss in forest department.
The CMO also got one more joint secretary – Om Prakash Bunker, who was earlier serving as additional commissioner excise (administration).
Apart for that, the CMO got two RAS officers on special duty and two deputy secretaries. Ramratan Saunkaria, who was serving as land management officer and ex-officio revenue appellate authority (RAA), Sikar has been posted as officer on special duty. Similarly, Rajkumar Singh, who was serving as additional district collector Saharia development, Shahbad, Baran, has been posted as OSD in CMO while Jai Prakash Narayan has been transferred as deputy secretary in CMO from revenue department.
The CMO got one more deputy secretary in Hemendra Nagar, who has been transferred from Barmer.
Cabinet ministers finally get RAS as their staff
The cabinet ministers of Rajasthan got their personal staff after more than a month. Recently seven ministers including the two deputy chief ministers got RAS officers as Special Assistants. In this transfer list the remaining 16 cabinet ministers and ministers of state have been given special assistants (SAs).
Jai Narayan Meena has been transferred to serve as SA to education minister Madan Dilawar while Naresh Kumar Malav will serve as SA to Avinash Gehlot.
The minister of state for industries and commerce K K Bishnoi got Rajpal Singh as his special assistant while minister of state for animal husbandry Jawahar Singh Bedham got Om Prakash – V as SA.
