Rajasthan will get nine new IAS officers as the department of personnel and training (DoPT) has allocated Rajasthan cadre nine successful candidates of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022. The number of candidates selected for IAS were 179 this time.
Currently Rajasthan has 259 IAS serving in the state as against the sanctioned cadre strength of 313.
Uttar Pradesh tops in producing maximum IAS
This time in CSE 2022, Uttar Pradesh topped with contributing 33 IAS officers to the country. Rajasthan with 22 stood second.
In the previous CSE-2021, Rajasthan was the topper contributing 24 followed by Uttar Pradesh (19).
The topper Ishita Kishore of Uttar Pradesh got home cadre. Similarly second and third toppers – Garima Lohia (Bihar) and Uma Harathi N (Telangana) also got their home cadres respectively.
In Rajasthan, Bharat Jai Prakash Meena, who secured 83 rank and Sonu Kumari with 208 rank, could get home cadre.
