Rajasthan government has reshuffled its PR team by transferring 44 officers of public relation department . These officers included joint directors, deputy directors, assistant director, public relation officers and assistant public relation officers.
Narbada Indoria, who has recently been promoted to joint director, has been given an important posting in Advertisment department. She was earlier serving in planning division.
An experienced hand, Indoria has been an accomplished journalist having worked with Rajasthan's leading newspaper – Rajasthan Patrika – before joining the government's public relation department.
Kamlesh Sharma, who was serving as joint director head quarter, has been transferred to Information and Public Relation Office, Udaipur.
Another joint director Manmohan Harsh, who was working with Rajasthan School Education Council has been transferred to Police headquarters while Jasram Meena, joint director in Soochna Kendra Jaipur, has been transferred to Rajasthan School Education Council.
Kshipra Bhatnagar, who was working as deputy director Forest department, has been called back to DIPR to serve as head of Communication and News division (CND) – the nerve centre of DIPR.
Het Prakash Sharma, assistant director, who was posted in Jaipur Police Commissionerate, has been called back to serve the department while Rajesh Yadav, public relation officer, has replaced him in commissionerate.
Among other important transfers, assistant director Abhishek Jain, who was looking after important portfolio of CND has been sent out of department to Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited. His working was not found up to mark after a brief stint he was stripped of from this important portfolio.
Kunal Vashishtha, assistant public relation officer, has been given important posting in Rajasthan Housing Board. He was earlier working in minorities affairs department. This is a big jump for a probationer.
Reshuffle of PR team – a well thought of exercise
The commissioner of DIPR Sunil Sharma has reshuffled his PR team after a long drawn discussion. He has picked up right person at right place. After long awaited DPC and promotions, officers are enthusiastic about their new postings. With Lok Sabha elections round the corner, Sunil Sharma has very well utilised his work force and positioned his people in headquarters as well as in districts.
