Rajasthan Housing Board sets up Chaupati in coaching hub Kota, tasty, rich variety of food to satiate tastebuds of student fraternity

After the successful launch of two food courts – Chaupati – in Jaipur, Rajasthan Housing Board sets up a chaupati in Kota as well. UDH minister Shanti Dhariwal, who is also MLA from Kota, inaugurated the food court, which promises to offer rich variety of quality food to connoisseurs. RHB commissioner Pawan Arora, who has envisioned the concept of chaupati, was also present on the occasion. While inaugurating the one of its kind food court in Kota, Dhariwal said that Chaupati will soon become a major attraction for tourists as well as student fraternity.

“Kota is the largest coaching hub of and every year more than 2 lakh students from across the country come here. For them getting tasty and healthy food is a big challenge. Chaupati, with its rich variety and quality food will help students feel at home,” he said.

Visit to Chaupati will reduce stress

In this competitive world, students often go through lot of stress. Chaupati will act as a recreational venue for them. They can have their choice of food here.

“Chaupati will give Kota a new identity. It will soon become a must visit tourist destination with all kind of food varieties at one place. We need to keep up the quality and varieties to remain on top of the kind of people,” Dhariwal said.

Dhariwal praises Arora for this unique concept

UDH minister Dhariwal was all praise for Pawan Arora. He said that the RHB has shown miraculous revival under the dynamic leadership of Pawan Arora.

“The credit for concept, design and quality of chaupati how's to Arora who worked round the clock to lift RHB from perils. The then BJP government was once thinking of closing down the housing board. But our government with dedicated officers like Pawan Arora has done wonders. He has not only generated record revenue but also invested the money in the public interest,” Dhariwal said .

He said that the board has earned more than Rs 4,637 crore in last four years by selling 17000 housing units and 2,000 commercial properties.

“Arora has added new dimensions to housing board. Earlier the board was confined to constructing housing units only but now it is expanding its horizons by building recreational assets like chaupati, park and clubs including the famous Constitutional Club on the lines on one that is located in New .

Bright ahead for RHB

Dhariwal said that the board has a bright and strong future ahead. The state government will expand the scale of RHB.

“Everyone dreams of own house. But private builders sell houses at exorbitant prices. In such situation, people find find it difficult to fulfil their dreams. The they look up to housing board which is providing customised housing solutions to everyone. Now housing board has started providing houses at sub division level also,” he said.

Chaupatis are unique example of board's efficient working

RHB commissioner Pawan Arora said that the construction of chaupati is a unique example of board's efficient working and commitment.

“Despite the Corona pandemic, we worked hard to fulfil our commitment of delivery such quality work in shortest possible duration. This is a something which is unprecedented,” he said.

He informs that chaupati, which is spread across 1,985 sq metres, has 17 food shops and four kiosks. The cost of building this place is Rs 9.5 crore. It offers all kind of Indian, Italian, Chinese and Continental food at reasonable price.

Apart from that, the chaupati will provide RO water, Wi-Fi, LED sound system, selfie point and video walls.
