Rajasthan govt transfers 7 IAS, gives additional charge to 3

Rajasthan government transferred 7 IAS officers in a late night order. Three IAS have been handed over additional responsibilities along with their existing portfolio.

Mahendra Soni has swapped position with Babu Lal Goyal, who will now replace Soni as commissioner Greater nagar nigam while Soni will take over as additional director general in HCM- RIPA.

Kumar Pal Gautam, who was serving as excise commissioner has been called back to Jaipur to handle the post of commissioner Housing Board. Alpa Choudhary, secretary Housing Board was acting commissioner of Housing Board after the voluntary retirement of Pawan Arora, who served on this post for more than four years.

Om Prakash Kasera, who was serving as commissioner Bureau of Investment Promotion, will not go to Udaipur as commissioner excise. The mega investment summit – Invest Rajasthan – was held during the tenure of Kasera.

Tikam Chand Bohra will replace Dr Manju as collector of the newly created district. Dr Manju has been called back to Jaipur to serve as joint secretary energy department. The post of ceo, Rajasthan Heritage Authority where Bohra was serving has fallen vacant.

Mal Dhaka, who has been serving as joint secretary to minister has been transferred to Rajfed as managing director.

Apart from these transfers, few additional charges have also been given to officers along with their current responsibilities. Sudhir Kumar Sharma has been asked to take charges of commissioner BIP as well as commissioner industries, commerce and corporate social (CSR).

Kumar Pal Gautam will take care of executive director Rudsico in addition to his new posting as commissioner Housing Board.

T C Meena will remain in Udaipur as commissioner Tribal Area Development. However, he has been given additional charge of managing director Rajasthan mines and minerals corporation limited (RSMMCL).
