Nidhi Singh, a 2017 batch Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) has been suspended. She will have to report to principal secretary, department of personnel, Jaipur.
Singh was transferred to Bundi as Assistant Collector on September 13, 2023. But she did not join the duty.
Before transfer, she was serving as Assistant Director, Medical & Health (IEC), Jaipur.

Nidhi Singh is daughter of former IAS Salvinder Singh Sohata, who is currently a member of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Sohata is a 2003 batch IAS promoted from state civil services.
Nidhi Singh, earlier, has served in various capacities including Land Acquisition Officer (LAO) in RIICO and Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). She has also worked as SDO in Ramgarh Shekhawati and as Assistant Collector and Executive Magistrate at Ajmer and Alwar.
“Nidhi Singh is a bright officer. She knows her job and delivers within given timeframe,” said an officer.
