Rajasthan government transfers 20 IAS officers, changes five collectors ahead of elections

Rajasthan has transferred 20 IAS officers including five collectors and posted two officers who were APO. The government has also given additional charge to three officers. Punam, who is serving as secretary sanskrit education has been given additional charge of secretary and commissioner child right.

Rashmi Gupta, who is serving as director watershed development and soil conservation has been given charge of commissioner women empowerment and panchaytiraj (women empowerment). Tara Chand Meena, who is commissioner tribal area development has been given additional charge of director mines and geology. He is already handling additional charge of managing director, Rajasthan State Mines and Minerals (RSMM) Limited

Krishna Kunal: A 2003 batch IAS officer, who was put on APO after getting relieved from additional chief electoral officer (Addl ) in election commission on September 15, Kunal has been posted as secretary minority affairs and waqf board. The department earlier was with him as an additional charge when he was serving as (Addl CEO). Kunal had earlier served as Jaipur Collector and is known to be an efficient and effective officer.

Arushi Ajey Malik: A 2005 batch officer, Arushi Ajey Malik has been transferred as divisional commissioner, Jaipur from child's right department, where she was serving as secretary and commissioner. Malik had gone for a study leave and had returned in June this year. She will have an important role to play as divisional commissioner keeping in mind the upcoming elections.

Vishwa Mohan Sharma: A 2010 batch officer, Sharma was serving as managing director of rural non-farm sector development agency (RUDA). Now he has been transferred as collector to the newly created district Kekri. He had two stints of collector earlier in one each in Ajmer and Jaisalmer.

Kanhaiya Lal Swami: A 2010, batch IAS, Swami has been transferred as commissioner, agriculture department and panchayatiraj (agriculture). He was serving as transport commissioner. A promotee officer from state administrative service, Swami has also served as managing director of RCDF and joint secretary in UDH and revenue department.

Sandesh Nayak: A 2011 batch IAS officer, Nayak has been transferred as managing director of RajFed. He was earlier serving as director mines and geology department, Udaipur. A dynamic and result oriented officer, Nayak had earlier served as commissioner in DoIT and college education department before having stints as collector in districts like Bharatpur, Sirohi and Churu. Nayak is known to be a straight forward and honest officer with sharp mind and clear understanding.

Khajan Singh: A 2013 batch IAS officer, Khajan Singh has been transferred as member Rajasthan Tax Board. He was serving as collector Kekri. He had a short stint there. A promotee IAS from state services, Singh has served as member of revenue board.

Dr Manisha Arora: A 2013 batch IAS officer, Manisha Arora has been transferred as transport commissioner. She was serving as chairman and managing director of Rajasthan Handloom Development Corporation. A promotee from state services, Manisha had earlier served as additional director tourism and managing director Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation.

Gaurav Agrawal: A 2014 batch IAS officer has been transferred as collector Chittorgarh. He was serving as commissioner agriculture and panchayatiraj (agriculture). A bright and dynamic officer, Agrawal is the topper of 2014 batch. He had earlier served as collector Tonk and commissioner in Ajmer Development Authority and Jodhpur Development Authority.

Chinmayee Gopal: A 2014 batch IAS officer, Chinmayee Gopal has been transferred from Tonk where she served as collector for two and half years. She will now join RUDA as managing director. Earlier Chinmayee Gopal had served as commissioner Ajmer Municipal Corporation and joint secretary industries among other postings.

Peeyush Samariya: A 2014 batch IAS, Samariya has been transferred as Inspector General, Registration and Stamps. He was serving as collector Chittorgarh. Earlier, Samariya had served as collector in Dausa and Nagaur district besides serving as managing director of Rajasthan Urja Vikas Limited.

Hanuman Mal Dhaka: A 2014 batch IAS Hanuman Mal Dhaka has been transferred as collector in the newly created Khairthal district. He was serving as managing director, RajFed. A promotee from state services, Dhaka had earlier worked as joint secretary to chief minister. He has been transferred twice within a month.

Bachanesh Kumar Agrawal: A 2014 batch IAS, Agrawal has been transferred as collector Jhunjhunu. He was working as additional commissioner in commercial tax department. He had earlier served as special assistant to health minister. This is a prized posting for Agrawal keeping in mind the upcoming elections.

Vasudev Malawat: A 2014 batch IAS officer, Malawat has been transferred as commissioner, Udaipur Municipal Corporation. A promotee from state services, Malawat was serving as additional commissioner (Investment & NRI), Bureau of Industrial Promotion (BIP). Malawat had worked as commissioner in Udaipur Municipal Corporation earlier also.

Khushaal Yadav: A 2015 batch IAS officer has been transferred as joint secretary in energy department. He was serving as collector Jhunjhunu. He will be the seventh joint secretary in the department as no officer last long. Dr Manju was appointed as JS last month only and she has been now replaced by Yadav. He had earlier worked as commissioner in Ajmer and Bikaner Municipal Corporation before going for a study leave to pursue one year master degree course on public policy in .

Om Prakash Bairwa: A 2015 batch IAS Om Prakash Bairwa has been transferred as collector Tonk. He was serving as collector Khairthal and has been given a bigger district. A promotee from state services, Bairwa had earlier worked as director public services.

Dr Manju: A 2016 batch IAS, Manju has been transferred as additional commissioner (planning and policy) in Excise department, Udaipur. She had been collector of Shahpura and joint secretary energy in her earlier stints. But both the tenures were short lived. She had also served as secretary UIT and joint secretary industries. She has been transferred twice within a month.

Muhammad Junaid PP: A 2018 batch IAS, Junaid has been transferred as additional commissioner EGS, Jaipur. He was serving as CEO district council and ex officio chief project officer (MADA). A bright officer, Junaid had earlier worked as sub divisional magistrate in Nadbai ( Bharatpur) and Jhalawar.

Saloni Khemka: A 2019 batch IAS officer has been transferred as additional commissioner ( Investment &NRI) BIP. She was working as zila parishad and ex officio chief project officer (MADA) Udaipur. She had earlier worked as sub divisional magistrate in Gidwa and Badgaon, both in Udaipur district.

Rishav Mandal : A 2019 batch IAS, Mandal has been transferred as additional commissioner in commercial tax department. He was working as chief executive officer zila parishad and ex officio chief project officer (MADA) in Karauli. He had earlier worked as sub divisional magistrate in Sumerpur (Pali) and Kotputli.

Girdhar: A 2019 batch IAS, Girdhar, who was put on APO, has been posted as joint secretary industries. He was awaiting posting order for 7-8 weeks. He had earlier worked as commissioner in Ajmer Development Authority and sub divisional magistrate in Tonk and Bhawani Mandi.
