The Rajasthan government has suspended RAS officer Kulraj Meena. He will report to the office of IAS Niraj K Pawan, Divisional Commissioner Banswara during the time of suspension.
Meena, a 2015 batch RAS officer is the second officer who has been suspended for not joining post of Assistant Collector Bundi in a week's time. Sources say that Meena has not joined to avoid election duty.
Earlier, Nidhi Singh, 2017 batch officer was suspended on October 24, 2023 for not joining post of Assistant Collector Bundi. She is daughter of former IAS Salvinder Singh Sohata, who is currently a member of Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Sohata is a 2003 batch IAS promoted from state civil services.

Meena was transferred on October 30, 2023 and was told to join immediately to the Bundi Collectorate. But he did not join. He was serving as managing director, Jaipur District Milk Producers Cooperative Society (Jaipur Dairy).
Meena had earlier served in various capacities including sub divisional officer at Laxmangarh, Arnod (Pratapgarh), Shivganj (Sirohi) and was under training at Baran.
