Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, on Saturday, has approved provisional registration of the pumped hydro storage project and battery energy storage projects in Rajasthan.
Under the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Policy -2023, the registration charges of projects upto 100 MW would be Rs 30,000 per MW while for projects from 100 MW up to 500 MW, the charges have been fixed at Rs 30 lakh for 100 MW with an incremental charge of Rs 2.5 lakh per 100 MW till 500 MW.
Similarly, registration charges for projects from 500 MW to 1000 MW would be on differential basis. For 500 MW the charges would be fixed at Rs 40 lakh with an incremental Rs 2 lakh per 100 MW up to 1000 MW.
Likewise, the charges for 1000 MW would be fixed at Rs 50 lakh and then incremental Rs 1 lakh per 100 MW would be applicable with an upper limit of registration charge of Rs 80 lakh.
