The BJP state vice president Mukesh Dadhich blasted Congress for giving tickets to kins of members of Rajasthan Public Service Commision (RPSC). Congress given ticket to former chief secretary Niranjan Arya from Sojat. Arya is husband of Sangeeta Arya, who is an RPSC member. Similarly, the ruling party has given ticket to Shahjad Khan from Soorsagar. Khan is son of Prof Aiyub Khan, who was appointed as RPSC member on the date of implementation of model code of conduct.
TheBuckStopper.com was the first to report about this in a story dated 5.11.2023.
Interestingly, both RPSC members – Sangeeta Arya and Prof Aiyub had unsuccessfully contested election on Congress ticket from Sojat and Soorsagar respectively.
Dadhich demanded resignation from RPSC members on moral grounds.
“This is for the first time in Rajasthan that kins of existing RPSC members have been fielded in elections. Both of them should give their resignations on moral grounds,” Dadhich said.
He said that RPSC has lost its credibility and reputation in this government.
“There has been cases of paper leaks in 19 examinations in a row. It's matter of the future of 70 lakh aspirants. How can you expect honesty and transparency if member of a political party is sitting at a prime post in such an organisation,” he asked.
Dadhich said that the Congress has made RPSC its party office.
“Youth will take out RPSC yatra and give befitting reply to Congress which is playing with the future of job aspirants,” he said.
