Rahul Prakash, a 2006 batch IPS officer, posted as IG Bharatpur range has made his mobile number public inviting info about criminals

, Inspector General of Police range, has shared his official mobile number on social media. He has called upon public to inform any kind of crime or about criminals including cyber criminals on his Whatsapp. 

The name of the informer will be kept secret. 

This is a good initiative to build trust and rapport with public. Rahul Prakash is considered a sensitive and effective police officer with good track record. 

He had been additional commissioner of police in Jaipur commissionerate where he was responsible for traffic and administration. His work was lauded by all. Before this he was posted as DIG, Bharatpur range for 3 days.
