In the late night reshuffle of Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, 8 officers, promoted from state the police service, got posting. Kewal Ram Rao has been posted as police superintendent CID (Human Rights).
Lokesh Sonwal has been posted as superintendent of police, SOG while Gorvardhan Lal Sonkaria has been posted as superintendent of police law and order, police headquarters.
Kishan Lal Meena, who was suspended for delinquency in election duty during Jharkhand election, has been reinstated in the same post of Inspector General Human Rights at police headquarters. He was under APO after his suspension was revoked.
Sagar, who was serving as deputy commissioner traffic in Jaipur has swapped his position with his wife Ranjeeta Sharma, who is serving as superintendent of police Dausa.
Sagar had joined Rajasthan cadre in an inter cadre transfer from West Bengal on grounds of his marriage with Ranjeeta Sharma.
