Police arrests culprit who made deep fake video of MLA Ritu Banawat

Bayana Station House Officer (SHO) said that two persons have been identified in this deep fake video case. One Ramaram Bishnoi (26) is a resident of Thoba village in Pachpadra police station of Balotara district. He runs a cosmetic shop in Aajra village in Kolhapur district. police have arrested Ramaram while it is in a look out for the other accused – Dinesh Kumar Bishnoi.

Bishnoi lives in Bandhania village of Sedwa police station in district. Police is trying its best to arrest Dinesh also.

SHO Sunl Kumar told The BuckStopper that the address and whereabouts of the accused were gathered from Bharatpur cyber cell.

The SHO sent a team to Kolhapur to arrest Ramaram Bishnoi. On investigation Bishnoi divulged before the police that he had received the photo of the MLA on internet.
“I manipulated with the video just to increase the number of followers in social media,” said Ramaram.

What is the case:

After fortnight ago, a fake obscene video was being made viral on social media platform from the accounts of Rinku Choudhary and Dinesh Manju. They had edited nude photo of a woman and pasted face of MLA Ritu Banawat.

After few days, Ritu Banawat came to know about this and she complained to Bharatpur superintendent of police Mridul Kachawa and speaker Vasudev Devnani.
The speaker Vasudev Devnani instructed inspector general of police Bharatpur range to investigate into the matter and nab the culprits
