Member of Parliament from Rajsamand Diya Kumari has described Rajasthan's first Vistadome coach,‘Valley Queen' as a milestone in the development of the State and said that it will not only give a boost to tourism but will also open new employment opportunities. Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for this gift.
The heritage train was flagged off by PM Modi from Marwar Junction through a virtual conference. Later, the MP Diya Kumari flagged off the train from Kamli Ghat, sending it back to Marwar Junction.
The train received a grand welcome by the people with flowers on reaching the Kamli Ghat station.
Diya Kumari said that it is the result of the vision of Prime Minister that he has given the gift of the Vistadome train to Rajasthan. Already known for its tourism potential, it gets a new tourism product today, she said.
MP travelled from Marwar Junction to Kamli Ghat by heritage train
On looking at the valleys of Goram Ghat, MP Diya said that the view is as serene as Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. This heritage train will introduce us to the glorious past of Rajasthan as well as give us a glimpse of the natural beauty of the Ghat. The train will boost tourism in Rajsamand district, she said.
