Hours after Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot, in a press conference, said that he (Gehlot) didn't object to candidature of those who went along with Sachin Pilot to Manesar putting government in crisis, Sachin Pilot returned the favour saying that he has also not objected to leaders who went against the directions of high command and disobeyed Sonia Gandhi. He was referring to the incident in September 25 when Gehlot's loyalists boycotted CLP meeting going again the directions of high command.
Later the party had given showcause notices to two ministers – Shanti Dhariwal and Mahesh Joshi – and Dharmendra Rathore, Man Friday of Gehlot and chairman of RTDC.
Sachin Pilot reiterated what Gehlot had said about their relationship. He so and that there is no difference between them.
“Chief Minister has already said that love and affection between two of us has become an example for others,” he said.
About the chief ministerial candidate, Pilot said that the Congress believes contesting the elections under united leadership.
“The party doesn't announce the face before results. Only high command and legislatures will decide the CM face,” he said.
