A day after Rajasthan chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma took stock of MoU implementation status, chief secretary Sudhansh Pant appreciated the coordinated efforts of all departments for implementation of MoUs worth Rs 1.66 lakh crore in a record time of two months. This is close to 5 percent of the total MoUs worth Rs 35 lakh crore signed up at Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit.
Pant lauded the initiative of industries principal secretary Ajitabh Sharma for launching online investor interface through which investors are getting real-time updates on implementation of their respective MoUs.
“This initiative will play a significant role in enhancing ease of doing business and business competitiveness of the state,” he said.
Acknowledging the role of department secretaries in spearheading the implementation of MoUs, Pant directed them to build a direct line of communication with investors for seamless implementation of the MoUs.
“Sustained efforts should be made to retain the state's position as one of India's most preferred investment destinations,” he said.
Senior officials including Alok, Additional Chief Secretary, Energy; Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce; Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, LSG; Vaibhav Galriya, Principal Secretary, UDH; Shivangi Swarnkar, MD, RIICO; Sourabh Swami, Additional Commissioner, BIP and other top officials were present during the meeting.
