The selection panel has recommended promotion of 11 officers of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) following a meeting New Delhi.
According to sources, the panel has recommended names of officers of 1997 batch – Shaheen Ali Khan, Aakash Tomar, Gajendra Singh Rathore, Arun Kumar Hasija, Manish Goyal, Matadeen Meena, Kamalram Meena, Himmat Singh Barhat, Dr Rakesh Sharma, Purushottam Sharma and Dr Dewaram Saini.
“The panel will send its recommendations to the state government, which will approve and issue the promotion list,” said a senior official.
Highest number of promotee IAS are in 2013 batch
The largest batch of promotee IAS officers is 2013 batch where 17 officer of state civil service have been promoted followed by 2014 batch which consists 16 officers. The 2010 batch has 11 RAS officers promoted to IAS. It also has one officer from special selection.
