Om Mathur confident of BJP’s strong comeback in Chhattisgarh, met leaders and public on a one day visit to Jaipur

Senior BJP leader, party's and incharge of Chhatisgarh Om Mathur was on a one day visit to Jaipur. He was accorded a heroic welcome at his home turf. People and his followers throng his home to get a glimpse of Mathur, who has recently been entrusted with complete control over Chhatisgarh BJP. The party has made him the ‘captain of the ship' for the upcoming .

In the last elections, BJP lost badly getting mere 15 out of the total 90 seats under the leadership of Anil Jain.

“Chhatisgarh is the toughest among the three states who are going to polls. BJP has fielded its ‘Man Friday' for winning this state. Party didn't want dual command in the state. So Mathur, who was made state incharge 10 months, was also given the charge of election incharge. This will remove all the confusion if any among the party members,” said a senior BJP leader.

Om Mathur said that he will leave no stone unturned to bring BJP back to .

“I have done extensive touring in the state. They is unity in the party and every one is on the same page. We will fight together to uproot Congress which has pushed the state back from the development map,” Mathur said during his tour to Jaipur.

In the past one decade, Mathur has been the trusted war horse for BJP, who led the party to victory in states like Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. He is the organisational man and has the knack o build team from nowhere and win elections for the party.

“We have been able to build strong organisation in Chhattisgarh. Good selection of candidates along with hard work in field will bring us the victory,” he said.
