Yogesh Kumar Srivastava, a 2008 batch Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officer has been appointed as officer on special duty (OSD) of Rajasthan's new chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
Srivastava, has a rich experience of working as personal staff of ministers and politicians. He was working as deputy secretary to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and was relieved only on December 14 to be part of team of new CM. He was with Birla from August 2022 to December 14, 2023.
Before joining Lok Sabha secretariat, Srivastava has worked as deputy secretary to Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra.
A native of Dholpur, Srivastava has also worked as special assistant to food and civil supplies minister of Rajasthan Ramesh Chand Meena. He was also secretary to Meena when The latter was parliamentary secretary during February 2009 to March 2012.
An upright officer, Srivastava's experience in working with dignitaries will help the new chief minsiter to get the grasp of things easily.
