While doctors associations are baying for blood of Sedwa SDM Badri Narayan Bishnoi, who allegedly misbehaved with a doctor on duty just to show his superiority, RAS association has held back from defending his own member and fellow RAS officer Bishnoi.
RAS Association president Mahaveer Kharadi told The BuckStopper that association cannot defend an immoral conduct of an officer.
“The video footage shows that Bishnoi unnecessarily thwarted doctor who was doing his duty. An officer should conduct like an officer. We can't defend misconduct of any officer. However, doctors' association should also not play it up unnecessarily. It's the public who suffers and we are public servant,” Kharadi said.
Doctors associations are demanding suspension of Sedwa SDM Badri Narayan Bishnoi, who used ‘unpleasantry' language while pressing doctor to attend a patient on his visit to a local hospital.
The doctor claimed that he had already attended the patient and given her primary treatment before attending hordes of patients waiting in the outdoor.
When the issue snowballed and doctors came out in protest, Sedwa SDM Bishnoi tendered apology in the video release saying that his behaviour was unintentional and was outcome of heat of moment.
“I apologise for the behaviour. We have to work together for the development of the state,” he said in a video statement.
Doctors however are not impressed with the apology and are demanding suspension of SDM, who had been suspended once over corruption charges.
Who is Badri Narayan Bishnoi?
Badri Narayan Bishnoi is 2018 batch RAS officer, promoted from tehsildar service. Having a chequered past, he remained suspended for almost 5 years over corruption charges when he was tehsildar in Guddamalani.
His conduct has been under question in the past also.
Considered close to state ministry of industry KK Vishnoi, Badri Narayan recently got felicitated by minister Vishnoi for outstanding work on Republic Day.
