Nine IPS among Ashok Rathore, Amrit Kalash transferred in Rajasthan

A day after transferring 20 IAS and 20 IPS, Rajasthan government has effected transfer of 9 IPS officers.

Among IPS officers, additional director general (ADG) Ashok Kumar Rathore who has been heading ATS and SOG has been given charge of security. His innings in SOG was eventful. He had investigated Sanjeevani scam in which minister Ashok Gehlot has allegedly named union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who has filed a defamation case against CM. Rathore has also investigated paper leak case.

Another ADG Amrit Kalash will replace Rathore. Kalash was heading home security division.

Three IPS – Narain Togas, Prasad Meena and Rajesh Kumar Kanwat – have been transferred twice within a period of one day. Togas, who was posted as deputy Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation a day before has been transferred to Nagaur as superintendent of . Politically Nagaur will action filled with a probable poll battle between RLP chief Hanuman Beniwal and Jyoti Mirdha of the famous Mirdha scion, who has recently joined BJP from Congress.

Hanuman Prasad Meena has been transferred as superintendent of police (SP) to recently created Phalodi district. A day before he was posted as deputy commissioner of police (DCP Traffic) after getting elevated to IPS from service.

Rajesh Kumar Kanwat has been transferred within 24 hours from Jaipur Commissonerate to Jodhpur Commissionerate where he will take charge of DCP Traffic as his first posting in IPS.

Inspector General of Police Rajesh Meena has been transferred to security from planning, modernisation and welfare wing. Rajesh Singh has been moved from DIG Railways to planning, modernisation and welfare wing.

Among other SPs, Ram Murti Joshi has been transferred from Nagaur to state intelligence while Vineet Kumar Bansal has been transferred from Phalodi to Government Railway Police (GRP), Jodhpur.
