The All India Marwari Conference hosted the Rajasthani Sahitya Samman ceremony on March 1, 2025, at the Hindustan Club, bringing together the Pravasi Rajasthanis to share experiences and discuss opportunities for active participation in Rajasthan's development.
Dr. Manisha Arora, Commissioner, Rajasthan Foundation, addressed the pravaasis , apprising them about several announcements by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma during the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave on 10th December, 2024 during the Rising Rajasthan investment summit.
These announcements include establishment of a new department for Pravasi Rajasthanis, the Pravasi Rajasthani Samman Awards and the appointment of additional district collector in every district as nodal officer for the diaspora.
Arora elaborated on the RIPS 2024 (Investment Promotion Policy 2024) and the Rajnivesh Portal for real-time status information on the MoUs done during the Rising Rajasthan Summit.
During the event, awards were presented to litterateurs, including Dr. Mangat Badal and Ramji Lal Ghorela for their contributions to Rajasthani literature. The event was also attended by Shiv Kumar Lohia, National President of the All India Marwari Conference and other prominent members.
Following the ceremony, Dr. Arora met with Harshvardhan Neotia, Chairman of the Ambuja Nevatia Group, to discuss investment-friendly policies of the state government and calling upon the group to come forward for socio economic and philanthropic development of his native village in Shekhawati.
