KK Pathak given additional charge of excise commissioner

Kant Pathak, a 2001 batch IPS officer, has been given additional responsibility of excise commissioner after Ansh Deep (2013 batch), who is serving as excise commissioner and prohibition commissioner, has been relieved for central deputation. The had indicated the post of excise commissioner going on additional charge in its story dated August 31, 2024.

Krishna Kant Pathak, who is serving as finance (revenue) is already holding additional charge of chairman tax board.

Ansh Deep is going to join as deputy secretary in the union of cooperation for a period of four years from joining. 

Home minister Amit Shah is the minister of cooperation ministry.

With Ansh Deep joining Amit Shah, the union cooperation ministry will now have two IAS officers from Rajasthan. 

Abhimanyu Kumar, a 2011 batch officer, two batch senior to Ansh Deep, was as private secretary to Amit Shah in July this year.
