JJS to be held from 20-23 December

More than 1200 booths in Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) will exquisite jewellery and stones from 20-23 December.

The show will be inaugurated by the Industry and Commerce , Col Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore. This year the theme of JJS is ‘Rubies… Rare, Royal and Revered'. After focusing on emeralds in the last two years, this year the show will focus on the variety, quality and designs of ruby ​​jewellery.

The show is being promoted by 15-member Ruby Promotion Group, whose prime partner is Gemsfield – the world's leading supplier of coloured stones.

Ajay Kala, joint secretary and spokesperson of JJS said that the show, which has started with 67 booths in 2003, now boasts of having more than 1200 booths n its 22nd year.

“JJS is unique show. While most of the other jewellery shows focus on business to business (B2B) transactions, here in JJS business to consumers transactions are in large numbers. This is the highlight of the show where people from across the globe come to choose their pick,” he said. 

JJS in the last two decades has become a signature of . Tourists plan their travel to Jaipur keeping in mind dates of JJS. More than 45,000-50,000 people from across the globe participate in this show. This not only enhances footfalls and business for the show but also gives a big boost to hospitality and industry.

Honorary Secretary of JJS, Rajiv Jain announced that this year, approximately 1,000 leading jewellery retailers from across the country will participate in the JJS. These retailers, invited annually by JJS, attend the event to establish valuable B2B connections, ensuring a regular supply of products. This initiative fosters continuous engagement between buyers and jewellery manufacturers.

Jain highlighted a notable feature of JJS 2024—the Networking Dinner, scheduled for 21 December. This prestigious event offers exhibitors a unique opportunity to interact with top retailers and buyers while enjoying a dinner accompanied by a live band performance.

The new addition to JJS in 2022 is the exclusive B2B pavillion, ‘Pink Club' named after the Pink City. The Pink Club will have a new location this year and will be part of Hall 2 with a bigger space. In the Pink Club, there will be 98 prefabricated booths and only B2B customers can visit this pavillion.

JJS spokesperson Ajay Kala announced that, this year, women achievers will also be recognised at JJS. Five outstanding women have been selected to receive this honor, and they will be felicitated on the JJS stage.
