Jaipur’s Anthea Creations gets the best award for display and design in EPCH exhibition, Shreya Bhandari takes the award

Anthea Creations, a creative start up by young entrepreneurs Shreya Bhandari and Sahil Bhargava, was bestowed with the best design and display award at the 55th Handicrafts and Gifts Fair (IHGF) organised by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) – the apex body to promote handicrafts in the country.

The award was given away by Uttar Pradesh's Industrial minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. This fair is amongst Asia's largest exhibitions which draws more than 3000 exhibitors from across 108 .

Shreya and Sahil after receiving the award said that the award is not only just a recognition but it is a matter of great pride.

“This is recognition to the glory of art and rich culture of handicrafts. We will continue to bring laurels for Jaipur through such awards at international platforms,” they said.

Anthea Creation makes innovative and exquisite gift and decorative handcrafted items. The specialty of this venture is the regensis of famous Japanese Deco clay art. They handcraft 100 per cent eco-friendly flowers and leaves which are in great demand in corporates and tier-1 cities.

“We have large number of patrons in cities like , Mumbai, Bangaluru, Hyderabad and . We get good orders from big corporates also. Here at the exhibition, we received great response from Indian as well as international buyers,” said Shreya.

The fair attracted 6,495 overseas buyers from 108 countries and buying representatives, as well as domestic volume buyers, resulting in business enquiries worth Rs 3,500 crores.

“Buyers came from USA, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Italy, Canada, South Africa, Russia, Brazil, Mexico, and many more,” said R. K. Verma, Executive Director, EPCH.
