Jaipur Greater Municipal Corporation Mayor Dr. Somya Gurjar has been awarded with Atal Bhushan Samman 2024 by Atal Foundation at a function held in New Delhi. The prestigious honour was given during a ceremony held at the Prime Minister's Museum, New Delhi.
Dr. Somya Gurjar was given this honour in the ‘Social worker and politician' category for her community service and public welfare works.
On this occasion, Dr. Gurjar said, “This honour is a matter of great pride for me and further strengthens my resolve to serve the society. I dedicate this award to all those who have supported me in this journey,” she said.
Many prominent dignitaries including Shyam Jaju (Chief Patron) and Aparna Singh (National President) of Atal Foundation were present at the event.
