Call it a coincidence. The Income Tax department has sent notice to Mahmood Yoonus Khan, son of rebel BJP candidate from Didwana Yoonus Khan.
Mahmood has business. He has been called to Income Tax officer in Jodhpur on November 29 along with documents of his earnings.
Yoonus khan was minister in both tenures of Vasundhara Raje – 2003-2008 and 2013-18. Khan is considered close to Raje but this time he was denied ticket from Didwana. Last time he was asked to contest against Congress leader Sachin Pilot from Tonk. He lost badly.
This time despite strong recommendations from Vasundhara Raje, he was denied ticket from BJP. He went against the party and is now contesting as an independent candidate from Didwana where he stands a good chance of winning.
