IFS Rajesh Kumar Gupta, 1997 officer, who was serving as secretary to outgoing chief minister Ashok Gehlot, has been relieved from CMO. He has been kept on awaiting posting orders (APO) till further orders.

Earlier in the day, four IAS officers of CMO – principal secretary Kuldeep Ranka, secretaries Gaurav Goyal and Arti Dogra and special secretary Rajan Vishal – have also been relieved form their duties and are kept on APO.
Gopal Singh
Meanwhile, Gopal Singh, an RAS officer of 2011 batch, has been appointed as special assistant (SA) to deputy chief minsiter Diya Kumari. He was serving as deputy secretary in PHED department.
A native of Alwar, Gopal Singh has been with various departments including medical education, rural development and commercial taxes. He had also been district supply officer (DSO) of Jaipur.
Sawan Kumar Chayal
Sawan Kumar Chayal, an RAS officer of 2013 batch has been appointed as SA to deputy chief minister Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa. Chayal was serving as officer on special duty (OSD) with UIT Udaipur.
