IFS Anurag Bhardwaj promoted to principal chief forest conservator rank

IFS Anurag Bhardwaj from 1993 batch, Rajasthan cadre, has been promoted in the pay scale of principal chief forest conservator.

IFS , who is serving as additional principal chief conservator of forests, and project of forestry and biodiversity diversity project, has been promoted in the pay scale of  principal chief forest conservator  (level 16 in the pay matrix) of the Indian Forest Service. His promotion will be effective from August 1, 2024. However, he continues to serve in the existing post till further orders.

Anurag Bhardwaj is a 1993 batch IFS officer, who hails from Haryana. He is considered as a bright officer and has worked on deputation in various departments of Rajasthan

Outside forest department, he has worked as registrar cooperative societies, managing director of Jaipur Discom, director and also as commissioner of watershed development and soil conservation department. 

Meanwhile the senior most officer in the forest department Arindam Tomar retired on Wednesday. He was from 1989 batch.
